The buffer section of the Klon Centaur on its own: half a TL072 as a unity-gain voltage follower biased at half supply, with a 560 ohm series output resistor. The post explains that a buffer counters the high-end loss ('tone suck') from long cables, many true-bypass pedals or low-impedance effects such as fuzzes and wahs.
