NOTE: THESE ARE NOW TOP MOUNT JACKS AND DC ONLY, though the image to the left still shows side jacks. They will be Lumberg, not Neutrik Who doesn't love the Filthy Fack!? Five knobs of germanium fuzz fun. How about adding three knobs to that and increasing the fun by a whole lot? We all know and love the standard format with Vol, Comp, Gate, Fuzz and the all-important Stab pots. This version is a tweaker's delight. We've a Fat control, which will give you a variable version of the Fat switch on the Filthy Fack. Not so noticeable when playing with normal fuzz settings, but turn the Stab pot down into oscillation mode and the extra frequencies running around the circuit become very apparent, totally changing the nature of the oscillations. The Bias pot let's you soften/harden the fuzz. All topped off with a simple Tone control. Next up is the Sanity bypass footswitch, giving you two completely different beasts with a single stomp of the foot. With it bypassed you're giving the circuit the full 9V of power it wants. Kick it and the Sanity pot comes into play, starving it just how you want and unleashing the beastly oscillations. For extra fun you can have this as a momentary switch. Available with silicon transistors in place of the usual germanium for a different flavour of fuzz and more temperature stability. The kit is supplied with vertical-mount pots which have round shafts, so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs. The horizontal pot spacing is 20mm, so keep those knobs small. Enclosure (pre-drilled) is only available with full kits, and will not take a battery. Knobs are not included. Builds are only available with full kits including enclosures.
