The Top Tone Light Drive, a straight clone of Pete Cornish's discontinued SS-2, traced by MWichini on freestompboxes. A 741 non-inverting gain stage with a 50k Drive pot feeds a pair of 1N270 germanium diodes to ground, a passive tone control and a second 741 stage before the Volume pot. The post notes it lacks the Cornish input buffer: add the buffer schematic in front of it to get an SS-2.
Run the Cornish input buffer (the second schematic in the post) in front of this circuit to make a full SS-2.
