From the vendor

Paul Crowther's Hotcake, first made in 1976: a single LM741 op-amp pushed into clipping, followed by a passive RC low-pass ladder and a Mid Lift/Normal switch that takes the output either after the filter or from a mid-boosted tap. Bajaman finds the 1977 version smoother and more Marshall-like than the newer one.
