From the vendor
Death by Audio's extreme fuzz with fully interactive controls, from very harsh to warm. Two 2N5089 transistors wired with a strange bias and orientation (the post suggests this explains much of the crazy sound) feed a 2N5306 Darlington stage whose collector load is the Bias pot and whose emitter is the Fuzz pot, followed by a Filter and Level. A switch grounds the first two transistors' shared leg directly or through 10K to choose between gated and oscillating fuzz.
