From the vendor
The blog author's own light overdrive and booster, which he describes as a mix of the ZVex Super Hard On, the Lovepedal COT50 and his own ideas: a single 2N7000 or BS170 MOSFET gain stage with a red LED in its bias network, germanium diode clipping to ground at the output, and two 1KB controls in the source leg. Structure sets the overall gain; Nature is a subtle, interactive mid/high control.
The drawing suggests adding a switch in series with the clipping diodes to remove the diode clipping.
