From the vendor
Zachary Vex's Machine, a distortion built from two cascaded frequency-tripler stages that distort through crossover distortion, in the sloped middle of the waveform rather than at the peaks. Each stage is a BS170 MOSFET gain stage (the first a Super Hard On, so the In knob acts as a drive) feeding a complementary 2N3906/2N3904 pair. A Limit control sets a pair of diodes that clip the original waveform down to about the size of the harmonics. It is meant to stack in front of other fuzzes rather than for chords.
Traced from a 2001 unit with no LED or power jack; if you add a power jack, add some power filtering to prevent 60Hz hum.
