A complete DIY project of the Hermida Audio Zendrive by freestompboxes member stratotrasto, with schematic, PCB layout and a drilling template. The Zendrive is a dual op-amp overdrive whose feedback loop clips through two 2N7000 MOSFETs and Schottky/germanium diodes, with a Voice control setting the low end of the gain stage, followed by a passive tone filter and a buffered output.

The schematic lists alternatives: MBR040 or 1N34A for D1, D2 and D3, and a Burr-Brown OPA2604 for IC1. The schematic suggests audio taper pots for Voice, Gain and Tone.
