Project overview:

Imperial Lemon is a FET‐based overdrive emulator that nails the vintage-sounding of the Orange amplifiers. Inspired by the now-discontinued Monarch Overdrive by EarthQuaker Devices, this pedal gives you the ability to boost both bass and treble frequencies. This is not an ordinary citron: with an organic, colorful tone that has a full low end and bright highs; the Lemon is certainly Imperial.

Introduction

This J-FET-based board was designed around the Pre-amp section of the Orange amplifiers. Squeeze the Imperial Lemon and get all that juicy thick and saturated fuzzy tones.

The Baxendal EQ section comprises a treble and bass knob that boosts or cuts the desired frequencies. This section is placed in between the first and second gain stages, delivering its classic Orange Flavor.

If you are looking for an overdrive able to produce big fat juicy chords with excellent low-end retention, the Imperial Lemon is the right pedal for you!
