BYOC’s Mosfet Boost kit är baserad på samma krets som Zvex Super Hard On. SHO har en ratt som justerat Boost. Mosfet Boost klonar SHO’n precis och har dessutom en extra ratt som ställer utgångsvolym.

Mosfet Boost har en tajt low end och den lägger till en del skimmer till tonen, den är inte så superren som många tror. Om du drar upp gain-ratten så får du skitigare ton och påverkar samtidigt volymen.

Den ger dig ca. 25dB boost om båda kontrollerna vrids till max och ungefär 15dB om du ställer gain i min, för renare ljud, och volym i max.
