This is one absolute beast of a circuit. Four-knob box of ear-splitting fuzz. Utterly uncompromising. Fuzz control goes from zero (very, very fuzzy) to ten (broken-speaker crackle fuzz). Though actually a bass fuzz, this is just as good on guitar, and sounds unlike anything else out there. Most layouts for this pedal have a hefty amount of fiddly and confusing pot connection. This kit has all the madness contained within the PCB, so much simpler to get to grips with. Those board-mounted pots take all the headache out of this build. This version of the kit comes by popular demand. Not everyone loves the horizontal format of the original, but everyone loves board mounted pots. So here we have it in a vertical-box format. Sweet! The kit is supplied with vertical-mount pots which have round shafts, so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs. This version also has space for an optional 'Shove' control, which adds resistance at the input, making everything work nicely with your active bass. If you want to make a version with a different pot configuration take a look at the wired version of the kit. There's also the option of going for a 5K reverse log pot for the Fuzz control which gives much better range and sweep than the original 2K linear. Enclosure (pre-drilled) is available as an option with full kits, and will not take a battery. Knobs are not included. Builds are only available with full kits including enclosures.
