From the vendor

Wampler's Ecstasy, later renamed the Euphoria, a Dumble-flavored overdrive. The post calls it a Tube Screamer / Voodoo Labs Overdrive hybrid: an op-amp gain stage whose Bass control is a pot to a big cap in the ground leg (the same bass control as PaulC's Timmy), a three-way switch choosing feedback diodes, diodes to 4.5V, or no diodes (op-amp clipping), then a second gain stage and a variable low-pass treble control. Brian Wampler described the design himself on freestompboxes.

The schematic is a simulation screen grab: the three separate 4.5V voltage dividers (R7/R11, R12/R13, R14/R15) can be replaced by a single divider feeding every 4.5V point.

Fixes to the schematic, from the post

  • The two 12.5k resistors labeled TONE1 and TONE2 in the output filter are really a 25k pot, with its wiper going to the 22n cap C2.
  • The op-amp (U1 and U5 on the drawing) is a JRC4580D.

  • The switch wiring is drawn only as two 'Switch' labels; it is a three-position toggle (feedback diodes / none / diodes to 4.5V).
