The first wah pedal, made by Thomas Organ/Vox in 1967 from the midrange voicing circuit of the Vox Super Beatle amp. The circuit is the same two-transistor inductor wah as the later Cry Baby, but with low-gain BC109B transistors instead of MPSA18 Darlingtons, which the post says gives a rounder bass response, a 100k ICAR taper pot that puts more quack at the toe end, a Halo inductor and several different component values.
The post points out the original's 'tropical fish' capacitors, which many believe contribute to its character, and recommends a replica Halo inductor (e.g. from arteffect in Israel). The vero layout uses a 100K linear pot for the wah pot and 220nF for the 0.22uF capacitors.
