Four stages in a row, each with its own bypass toggle: an LPB-1 style transistor boost, a Hemmo's Bazz Fuss single-transistor fuzz (Fuzz 1), an oddly biased Fuzz Face style two-transistor fuzz (Fuzz 2), and a Big Muff tone stack with a gain-recovery transistor. It is one half of the Blackout Twosome dual fuzz. The regular Fix'd Fuzz has only Boost, Tone and Volume on the outside with the other pots as internal trimmers; the Deluxe (used in the Twosome) puts every control on the panel.

Each of the four stages (Boost, Fuzz 1, Fuzz 2, Tone) has its own bypass toggle. On the regular Fix'd Fuzz only Boost, Tone and Volume are external; Fuzz 1 and Fuzz 2 are internal trimmers. The Fix'd Fuzz Deluxe has all controls on the enclosure.
