A British hand-built compressor designed from scratch rather than around an OTA. A TL072 gain stage has a JFET (2N5457) in its feedback network acting as a voltage-controlled resistor, driven by a rectified and smoothed sample of the output, with two LEDs in the feedback as soft limiters. The post compares its subtle, transparent, non-pumping compression to the Orange Squeezer and calls it a 'tone tidier'.
