The Jordan Vico Vibe, a late-1960s plug-in tremolo housed in the same style of box as the Jordan Bosstone; despite its name it is a tremolo, not a vibe. A 2N5088 phase-shift oscillator drives a second 2N5088 that shunts the signal to ground as a variable resistor, giving a smooth sine-wave tremolo, and also the volume drop the original is known for. Mahoney later made a replica with an added boost.
The 1M trimmer sets the bias of the first (shunt) transistor. Renegadarian's vero layout adds optional parts: R9 1M, C5 100u and D2 1N4001 for polarity protection.
