From the vendor
The early germanium Pep Box, a 1960s British fuzz sold under the Rush and WEM/Watkins names and used by John Lennon around the Revolver era. Two PNP ACY41 germanium transistors run from -9V, the Effect pot sitting between them as both the interstage level and the second transistor's base bias. A 3300pF output cap thins the low end before the Level control.
