Hornby Skewes' fixed-gain germanium treble booster, a single 2N4061 stage with no controls; the same circuit is the treble booster half of the Hornby Skewes Shatterbox. The post notes it was also built with an OC44.
R5 (100k) is not present on all units; it may be replaced with a 100k pot (the assumed Blackmore modification). Also built with an OC44 germanium transistor.
