A heavily tweaked Fuzz Face (2N3906 silicon and B22 germanium) with a 2N3906 output stage, plus diode clipping and feedback 'Melt' and 'Hot' controls that push it into meltdown territory. An optional sag pot on the supply is drawn.
Set the bias with the 25K trim for -4.5V at Q2's collector. The 50K sag control is optional. Experiment with different types of diodes.
