From the vendor

Martin C.'s (Soulsonic) original overdrive, a hybrid of op-amp and discrete styles: an LM301 non-inverting stage with Tube Screamer-like frequency shaping drives a BS170 MOSFET that does the overdriving. The 'Honey' pot sets how much the MOSFET's source is bypassed, from tight 'British' crunch to thick saturated distortion.
