From the vendor
An early, short-lived Lovepedal distortion aimed at the Eddie Van Halen 'brown sound'. It is a very simple LM386 power-amp-chip distortion, with the Dist pot setting the gain between pins 8 and 1 through a 47u cap; some say it is based on Aron Nelson's Smash Drive. The author does not like it: the distortion is crackly and the decay gated.
