From the vendor

A low-to-medium gain overdrive built from cascaded JFET stages in the style of Jack Orman's Booster 2.5 / Microbooster, with a Feed control for the bass going into the drive and a Body control for mids and compression. The Boost+ adds an extra JFET boost stage (the '+' knob), and a Headroom switch turns on a voltage doubler to run the circuit at about 18V.

Harald Sabro's layouts leave out the voltage doubler; the post shows an LTC1044/ICL7660S positive doubler (image 5: IC1 with D1, D2 1N5817, C1 10u, C2 100u) and a switch to choose between +9V and about +18V. The layouts suggest 2N5457 or similar JFETs as substitutes for the J201s. Use a DPDT or 3PDT between the main board and the boost stage to switch the boost in and out.
