From the vendor
An old Lovepedal design meant to give a Blackface Fender Super 'on 6' tone. It is a single BS170 MOSFET common-source stage with drain-to-gate feedback bias and a 9.1V zener from gate to source, with an Intense pot setting how much the source resistor is bypassed; the MOSFET's own soft clipping does the work without diodes. A simple low-pass 'vintage tone stack' (a pot bridged by a cap) and a Volume pot follow. It departs from Lovepedal's usual Electra/LPB booster formula.
The author prefers a 390R in place of the 510R source resistor (R5) for a little more gain, a 22n input cap (C1) instead of 100n, and a 100n output cap (C2) instead of 10n.
