Tim Escobedo's fuzz built around a 'non-selective frequency tripler', a complementary 2N3906/2N3904 pair originally designed by R. Lockhart Jr., driven by an MPSA18 gain stage and followed by silicon diode clipping. Sweet at low gain, splatty at high gain; the post shows it as the basis of the Lovepedal Karl and notes the Zvex Machine uses the same tripler.
