Lovepedal's Dragon (also sold as the BBB-07, Black Beauty Balance and other names), traced by Greg on freestompboxes. It is a simple two-transistor PNP germanium Fuzz Face variant with a Blend pot at the input that sweeps between the full-range input cap and a small treble-booster style cap, so it goes from Rangemaster-like boost to Fuzz Face fuzz. The post notes the transistor types varied between versions (silicon, germanium and hybrid).
The post suggests trying different transistors until you find a sound you like; versions were built with silicon, germanium and hybrid pairs.
