Skreddy's take on the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff, voiced after the Muff sound of the Smashing Pumpkins' 'Siamese Dream' (named for the song 'Mayonaise'). It is a four-transistor (2N5133) Big Muff with R19 and C5 swapped from the standard order and added CX and RX parts. The designer stresses using the exact part types specified (carbon composition resistors, ceramic capacitors, metal film for C5-C7); the post's author found it one of the best Muff variants he had breadboarded.

The tone stack shown is the classic mid scoop; for flat mids, replace C8 and C9 both with 5.6n. Skreddy Pink Flesh work-alike (per Marc): C1 10u, C8 4.7n, CX 220p-470p, C3 68n, a switch to put 4.7n in parallel with C9 for a mid boost, and a 100 ohm resistor after DX (plus transistor selection). The vero layout adds a three-position scooped/flat/boosted mids switch using 4.7n and 10n capacitors. The 3PDT footswitch is wired to ground the input in bypass (not shown).
