Jetter's Gain Stage Red, traced by Soulsonic (Martin Chittum), is almost an exact clone of the Hermida Zendrive. The Voice pot is replaced by a Hard/Soft switch choosing between two fixed resistors in the same voice network, the 100pF feedback cap is gone, the Tone pot is 100K linear instead of 50K, and a reverse polarity diode is added.
Any dual op-amp should work for U1 (its markings were sanded off); AD712 and OPA2604 are reported to work well. Q1 and Q2 are N-channel enhancement MOSFETs, likely 2N7000 or BS170.
