Hybrid Fuzz Driver Deluxe is Chuck D. Bones' expanded take on the Skreddy Hybrid Fuzz Driver, a germanium and silicon fuzz-drive. Chuck went back to a BJT input stage because it cleans up well with the guitar's volume knob, kept the Mid Boost knob as Gain (the mids get more focused as it goes up), gave the Fuzz control more range, and added a cut-only Midrange control, a pair of buffers and a Big Muff style Treble control that both cuts and boosts. Six knobs, and they all do something good.
Naegele Audio laid out this PCB for Chuck's circuit, checked it against his schematic, and added a bias pad for measuring Q3's collector voltage. The gerbers were shared in Chuck's thread.
