In the last 20 years EHX started to use the term Big Muff more loosely The Metal Muff and the Germanium 4 Big Muff, even tho they are fun pedals, electronically almost have nothing in common with the classic big muff. So they are pretty much ignored by the DIY community BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!! What you see here is based on the the distortion side of the Germanium 4 Big muff The original uses NKT275 Tranistors but on the distortion side they are just used as clipping diodes so I designed this to use diodes so you won't waste perfectly fine germanium transistors This thing actually sounds really good Give it a try Really Do it!
