From the vendor
The Small Clone, which the Memoria is based on, is a classic analog chorus which uses the MN3007 1024-stage bucket brigade chip. It provides classic, lush chorus sounds which have been heard on countless classic works, most notably Nirvana’s Nevermind. The rate control allows the chorus to go from a smooth, slow-moving chorus to a rapidly pulsating sound, and the depth control allows the effect to be subtle, in-your-face, or anything in-between. Due to the moderately large parts count and required board size, the Memoria is intended to be used without a battery when built into the recommended 1590N1/125B or C65. If battery operation is required, a larger enclosure is recommended. The Memoria can be mounted via the potentiometers, but it also has two M3-sized mounting holes for optional offboard wiring of the potentiometers. With the input connected to a guitar and the output connected to an amplifier, engage the pedal and adjust the trim pot until you hear a nice chorus effect with minimal signal distortion. [Optional] Insert a boost pedal or similar between your guitar and the Memoria. Starting at a low level, increase the boost until you hear some signal distortion, then adjust the trimpot to minimize the distortion. Continue increasing the volume and adjusting the trimpot. At a certain input level, it will not be possible to eliminate the distortion entirely. At this point, decrease the input signal until the distortion can be eliminated again and set the trimmer to where the distortion is minimized. The goal is to eliminate signal distortion for the loudest input where it is possible to do so.
