Metal mayhem in a box that emulates some sweet fully Kranked amps. High gain distortion with a simple 3-band EQ that should serve up enough chug for most. Wind back the mids for a classic scooped thrash tone, or tease them back in for more in-your-face modern metal. Even with the gain full up you won't loose your nimble fretwork in a mush of fizz. Clarity is king here. With the gain back you can get some nice drive sounds that are outside the metal realm. Options? Yes. How about a boutique box of tone-melt based on the DistMax? Someone went crazy-ape with a tone-stack calculator and swapped out a few components to come up with what we'll call the Rotten Corpse. Slightly heavier, though there's not a great deal in it to be honest. Board-mounted pots for minimal wiring and easy enclosure mounting. Full kit: As above, plus footswitch and appropriate daughterboard/components for your selected bypass type (see Downloads section for details of those), jack sockets, DC socket, battery snap, hook-up wire, LED. Enclosure (pre-drilled) is available as an option with full kits, and will not take a battery. Knobs are not included. Builds are only available with full kits including enclosure.
