From the vendor
This is part of our FuzzPup range of circuits designed for 1590A builds. They're not especially difficult, but working in a confined space can be fiddly. Take heed. Of course there's nothing stopping you using these PCBs for 'standard' builds. They're Direct Connect compatible. A different PCB is available for 'standard' 1590B builds - see the related products listed below. Make yourself a mini version of either a 186,282Mps or a Southern Drive, two of the best Tube Screamer variants out there. The 186 keeps things calm and collected, with a mild to medium gain range and a very natural feeling drive. The Southern ramps it up a notch on the gain, adds a second clipping stage and focusses those mids. Which to build? Both. They stack really well together. Comes with a separate daughterboard to easily mount the pots to the main PCB. Pots have round shafts so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs. Pot spacing is 18mm. If you want the PCB without parts there's a link for that at the bottom of the page. Partial kit: PCB, all board-mounted components, pots. Full kit: As above, plus footswitch and daughterboard, jack sockets, DC socket, battery snap, hook-up wire, LED. Enclosure (pre-drilled) is available as an option with full kits, and will not take a battery. Knobs are not included. Builds are only available with full kits including enclosures. Please choose appropriate knobs. Supplied with 9mm pots (round shaft) Inspired by: Lightspeed / Southern Drive Difficulty: Hard PCB size: 30 x 55mm Knobs required: 3 Enclosure: 1590A Direct-Connect compatible (4-way) Download the INSTRUCTION PDF You'll also need V2 of the general FuzzPup doc
