This is part of our FuzzPup range of circuits designed for 1590A builds. They're not especially difficult, but working in a confined space can be fiddly. Take heed. Of course there's nothing stopping you using these PCBs for 'standard' builds. They're Direct Connect compatible. A different PCB is available for 'standard' 1590B builds - see the related products listed below. Who doesn't love a Fuzz Face? Well, weirdos maybe. Who wouldn't like to tweak their Fuzz Face bias on the fly? Again.... All the lovely fuzzy goodness of the FF but with an external bias control. Twiddle it to compensate for temperature variations which mess with your germaniums, or just to change the flavour of fuzz to your liking. Kits available will change depending on what we have in stock. Currently they are: • Russian + AC125/8 (PNP Germanium) • BC108 (NPN Silicon) • No cans please - I have some sweet action of my own. The PNP version includes an on-board voltage inverter so you can power it with a standard 9V supply and daisy-chain power with your standard pedals. The cheaper silicon option gives a slightly harder fuzz - think along the lines of Dark Side of the Moon solos. - a classic sound in its own right. We've included spots for a couple of smoothing caps for the silicon version to avoid any squealing at higher gain settings. Comes with a separate daughterboard to easily mount the pots to the main PCB. Pots have round shafts so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs. Pot spacing is 18mm. Full kit: As above, plus footswitch and daughterboard, jack sockets, DC socket, battery snap, hook-up wire, LED. Enclosure (pre-drilled) is available as an option with full kits, and will not take a battery. Knobs are not included. Builds are only available with full kits including enclosures. Please choose appropriate knobs.
