Evil Android Octave Down Fuzz

Down and dirty fuzz with one or two (or, in our prefered build configuration, both) glitchy octave down tracking. Perfect for anyone wanting some freaky low-end texture to their tone without splashing pedalboard estate on the bigger Octave Master. The original has three controls (Fuzz, Starve, Octave) along with a second footswitch to select one or two octaves down. We're offering this as a 1590B with a single footswitch. You have the option to go for the original functionality using a toggle switch for the octave selection. However, we'd strongly suggest going for a four knob build, eliminating the switch and having a separate level knob for each octave. Blend that bottom end as you see fit. The STARVE function opens up a whole universe of textural possibilities as the glitches and splatters fight for prominence. This is NOT a precise, pristine octaver. It tracks well once you're over the 7th fret, but it is glitchy which is half the fun. Think of it as a more versatile MXR Blue Box. The kit is supplied with vertical-mount pots which have round shafts, so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs. If you want the PCB without parts there's a link for that at the bottom of the page.
