Clone of the classic Maestro bass fuzz box. Great octave fuzz tone with plenty of control over how much dry signal gets through. Not a cheap kit as there are some expensive parts in there that have to be sourced, but well worth it for the results. The two switches and three pots can all be mounted straight to the PCB for minimal wiring and easy enclosure mounting. Any of them can be wired off-board if you want to do your own enclosure layout. This new version of the kit has an ingenious (if we do say so ourselves) little daughterboard arrangement for mounting the transformer below the level of the main circuit. This gives you plenty of clearance to get the whole caboodle into a 1590BB enclosure with room to spare. The kit is normall supplied with vertical-mount pots which have round shafts, so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs. You can opt to wire up your pots if you prefer, and the PCB will still securely mount to the enclosure with the toggle switches.
