Treat yourself to some tape echo type fun. PT2399-based delay with lo-fi repeats of 40-600ms (or more if you want to go for the modded circuit) and some sweet modulation to emulate wow and flutter. Controls are: • Time - Delay length • Regen - Repeats - one to oscillating foreverness • Depth - How wobbly do you want it? Just a little shimmer or lots of pitch shift and chorus. • Level - Repeat volume • Speed - How fast the wobbles are. An LED gives you feedback as to what your modulation section is doing - brighter = deeper and it flashes in time. The board has been designed for 3mm resistors. Beware - these are tiny, fiddly and the codes are difficult to read, though the neat results are worth the effort. We can supply 6mm resistors if you're happy to stand them upright on the PCB. The LFO section does require a tiny hack-ette to get a missing resistor into the circuit. It's a doddle, and easy enough that we're not going to ditch these boards. It'll be corrected on the next batch. Check the build doc for details. You have the option of going for a slightly modded version which extends the delay time, but be aware more time = more noise and lo-fi glitchiness. Not necessarily a bad thing. You can also opt for an external gain pot, but really - just stick with the set and forget trimmer. The kit is supplied with vertical-mount pots which have round shafts, so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs. We recommend 1900H knobs as the pot spacing is a tight 17.5mm. Full kit: As above, plus footswitch and appropriate daughterboard/components for your selected bypass type (see Downloads section for details of those), jack sockets, DC socket, battery snap, hook-up wire, LED. Enclosure (pre-drilled) is available as an option with full kits, and will not take a battery. Knobs are not included. Builds are only available with full kits including enclosures.
