The cheap plastic casings fools us but Arion did some really good sounding stompboxes in the 80s and 90s. Here is a quite simple distortion unit that is supposed to be a sleeper. Earlier versions had silicon diodes as hard clippers which was switched to red LEDs later on. So I included a diode switch. Schematic is avaiable HERE.
