We've managed to clone the little known, and rarely seen Purple Platypus. Of course, we added our own twists to the DNA as well. The very rare Way Huge Purple Platypus was a combination of a Tube Sound Fuzz-ish front end, with a Foxx Tone Machine-ish back end. In essence... an octave overdrive. Our own additions to this? A footswitch to turn the octave on/off, and a pot that allows you to dial in the amount of octave that you want. This can, and does, give a Superfuzz a run for the money. Low key overdrive? Check. Octave lead lines? Check. All out ring moddy tinged power chords? Check, check, and double check.
