MOSFET Driver Redux is a PCB and faceplate for Chuck D. Bones' redesign of the MOSFET Driver, which he also calls the Box of Timmys. An LF356 stage with a Timmy style bass control and LED soft clippers drives two BS170 MOSFET gain stages, then a Timmy style treble control and a BS170 source follower. It has a ton of gain and is really easy to dial in. The circuit design is all Chuck's. His breadboard runs the MOSFETs from +25V with a voltage tripler; this board runs everything from 9V and has no charge pump.
The faceplate is styled after the Butler Tube Driver, and the little tube in the middle lights up with the status LED.
